Born in Athens, Greece, in 1991. Studied Chemistry at the Chemistry Department of the University of Crete (UOC) and received her degree in 2014. Had her M.Sc. in the field of “Environmental Chemistry” in 2016 at the same department on ‘Non-methane Hydrocarbons in the Greater Athens Area. Study of the time variation. Investigation of the contribution of the wood burning as a source’. Her Ph.D. Thesis (diploma in 2019, University of Crete and IMT – Lille – Douai, France) was in the field of Atmospheric Chemistry studying the ‘VOC source apportionment and emission inventory evaluation over the great Athens, comparison with other cities of the Mediterranean basin’. In addition, she conducted aerosol research at the Environmental Chemical Processes Laboratory (UOC) for a short period in 2013, as part of her bachelor thesis. She is currently a Research Associate at the National Observatory of Athens and the Environmental Chemical Processes Laboratory (UOC), where she continues the measurement and analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds in the atmosphere of Athens.
