Location and Instructions to reach our premises

Directions

In order to reach the 2 research institutes of NOA from the Athens International Airport you can use the following means of transportation:

 

Public transport

You should combine Urban Rail Transport and Bus for this route. Two options are given:

- Preferred route: First you should get the Blue Metro line No 3 from the airport with the direction 'Egaleo' and get to 'Halandri' station (around 25 minutes). There you have to change to the bus number 460 or 461 towards 'Palea Penteli'. The driving route towards NOA is around 30 and 20 minutes, respectively.

- Alternative route: First you should get the Suburban Railway line from the airport with the direction 'Ano Liossia' and get to 'Neratziotissa' station, where you have to change to the Green Metro line No 1 towards 'Kifissia' and get off at 'Maroussi' station (around 25 minutes). There you have to change to the bus number 466 towards 'Nosok. Penteli (hospital PIKPA)'. The driving route towards NOA is around an hour.

The closest bus station to the NOA Institutes (shown in the maps above) is 'Haravgi' (15 minutes on foot / 1 km). You can download the walking route here. Metro cost for this route is 8 euros (90-min ticket valid for one trip) and the bus ticket costs 1.20 eyros (1-way ticket for 1 trip).

 

Private means

The fastest driving route to the two NOA Institutes is attached here (around 25 minutes / 28 km). There are parking areas outside each Institute. Taxi costs would be around 25 euros.

 

Note: A combination of Metro and Taxi is also an option (approximately 1 hr). First you should get the Blue line No 3 from the airport with the direction 'Egaleo' and get to 'Doukissis Plakentias' station. There you get a taxi to NOA, Palea Penteli. Here you find the full directions for the proposed route. Taxi costs for this part for the route would be around 7 euros.

In order to reach NOA's central premises from the Athens International Airport you can use the following means of transportation:

 

Public transport

The best means of public transport for this route is the Metro. Metro cost for this route is 8 euros (90-min ticket valid for one trip). First you should get the Blue line No 3 from the airport and get to 'Monastiraki' station. There you have to change to Green line No 1 towards 'Piraeus'. Your final destination is the first stop in this direction, the 'Thissio' station. After arriving there (in about 40 minutes), Nymphs Hill is 10 minutes away, on foot (750 m). You can download the walking route here. A scenic, though longer (1.4 km / 17 minutes) path starts from 'Acropoli' metro station (Red line No 2). You can find it here.

 

Private means

The fastest driving route to NOA central premises is attached here (around 40 minutes / 50 km). There is a parking area at NOA premises. You can enter from "Pnykos" street or 'Otryneon' street, but only part of the 'Apostolou Pavlou' street is opened for cars. Taxi costs would be around 40 euros.
