The 16th Recetox Summer School and SMURBS Training School 2020, that took place during the 15-19 June 2020, ended with great success! More than 200 participants, from 44 countries registered to the workshop (73% from Universities, 16% from Research Institutes, 3,5% from Companies, 6,5% from Ministries and State Organizations), confirming the great interests in the health relevant topics covered: Smart Cities, Urban Air Quality, Smart sensors, Urban Exposome, Environmental Epidemiology and Geospatial Data as well as Indoor Air Quality, as delivered by 21 speakers.
Through the EU H2020 project SMURBS, co-organizer of the workshop, APCG has massively contributed with presentation of its cutting edge research. We would like to thank the hosts (MUNI Recetox) for all the organization, all speakers and the members of APCG for their time and devotion: Eleni Athanasopoulou, Jenifer Bailey, Despina Paraskevopoulou, Sofia Pomakidou, Iasonas Stavroulas, Evangelos Gerasopoulos as well as Nefta Votsi for facilitating the coordination of the workshop on behalf of the group.
